Hey,

My name is April and I create art and craft things that make me smile. I hope they bring you a little happiness too.

I’m a queer cis woman in Scotland, with a couple of disabled cats, an epic teenager, and a wee collection of chronic conditions. If you think any of my pieces look a little wonky, they probably do. I’m pretty much blind in one eye so they way I see the world is a little wonky. It adds character (and bruises when I misjudge distance).

I absolutely love colour and texture, and playing with mixed media, so you’ll often find me combining watercolour and ink, or polymer clay and paper. I find myself inspired by the world around me, and also by the rich cultural tapestry of all the gloriously strange bits of this little island that I’ve lived. Inspiring scenery, awesome historic architecture, plus epic ghost stories or delightfully weird local customs? Yes please!
